Quick implementation of the Chief Minister’s announcement: Financial aid of Rs 20,000 to be given lump sum under ‘Shramik Sian Sahayata Yojana’…

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel met the beneficiary workers of the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Shram Anna Yojana, run by the Labor Department, at Gandhi Maidan in Raipur on New Year.

On this occasion, he announced to increase the one-time financial assistance given under ‘Mukhyamantri Shramik Sian Sahayata Yojana’ from Rs 10,000 to Rs 20,000. In compliance with the announcement, a notification has been issued by the labor department in this regard, increasing the financial aid given under the scheme.

For the registered construction workers associated with Chhattisgarh Building and Construction Workers Welfare Board under the Labor Department, the membership of the construction workers who have completed 60 years of age automatically terminates.

Such construction workers whose membership is about to terminate, a lump sum financial aid is provided to them under the scheme to ensure their better quality of living.

Under the scheme, the construction workers should be registered in the board for at least the last three years and the minimum age of the construction worker should be 59 years and maximum 60 years.

To avail benefits of various schemes of the Labor Department, eligible labor applications have been started online on the departmental portal of the Labor Department, cglabour.nic.in.

Workers can apply online themselves or through ‘Shramev Jayate’ mobile app and labor office of the district concerned or through any public service center.
