The Chief Minister will attend the Gaurav Samagam 2023 ‘Urban Pride Awards’ program.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will attend the ‘Gaurav Samagam 2023, Urban Pride Awards’ program organized at Hotel Babylon International in the capital Raipur on 15 February at 12 noon as the chief guest.
Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahriya will be present as a special guest in this one-day awareness program organized by the Urban Administration Department for the mayors and presidents of the urban bodies and the felicitation ceremony of the urban bodies that have excelled in the implementation of the flagship schemes.
In the programme, Chief Minister Baghel will interact directly with the mayors of municipal corporations, chairpersons of municipal councils and nagar panchayats and award the urban bodies for excellent implementation of departmental schemes.
Chief Minister Baghel will also release a video based on the achievements of the Urban Administration and Development Department and a coffee table book based on departmental achievements will also be released during the program.
In the programme, Chief Minister Baghel will also honor three beneficiaries of Chhattisgarh announced by the Government of India at the Dandian Urban Housing Conclave in Rajkot.
Brief information about the ambitious schemes of the state government will also be given by the departmental officers in this programme.
Along with this, the bodies performing excellently in various departmental schemes such as Mukhyamantri Slum swasth yojna, Shri Dhanwantri Generic Medical Stores Scheme, Swachh Bharat Mission, Housing Mission for All, Urban Livelihood Mission and Property Tax Collection etc. will be rewarded by Chief Minister Baghel.
Along with the development works in the urban bodies, the Chief Minister will hold an open discussion with the mayors and presidents to take steps towards expeditious and well-planned development of the cities.
