Chhattisgarh Government issued an order through the power vested in Chhattisgarh Atyavashyak Seva Sandharan Tatha Vichchinnata Nivaran Adhiniyam, 1979

In response to the ongoing indefinite strike by Patwaris, which has been causing difficulties for the general public in revenue-related matters since May 15, the state government has taken action to prevent the disruption of essential services provided by the revenue department. The state government has issued an order prohibiting Patwaris from refusing to work. This order has been enforced under the powers granted in sub-sections 1 and 2 of Section 4 of the Chhattisgarh Atyavashyak Seva Sandharan Tatha Vichchinnata Nivaran Adhiniyam, 1979. Effective from June 7, the order will remain in force for the next three months, ensuring the smooth functioning of revenue-related matters.

In a move aimed at addressing the challenges faced by the public, the Chhattisgarh Government has issued an order to enforce this Act to cover essential services provided by the Revenue Department. The decision comes in response to an indefinite strike by Patwaris, which has caused difficulties for students in obtaining important certificates. Agricultural activities have also been greatly affected. The absence of Patwari reports has also impacted revenue court proceedings and hindered access to government schemes in rural areas. This order has been implemented to ensure the smooth functioning of these vital services and mitigate the adverse effects faced by students, farmers, and the general public. In light of the problems faced by the public, the decision was made to issue the order, considering the obstruction in essential service delivery. The aim is to ensure smooth operations and prevent any inconvenience to people in carrying out their work without any hassles.
