Unemployment Allowance commenced in the month of April to support youth.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will transfer the third installment of Unemployment Allowance, amounting to Rs. 31.69 crore, to the accounts of 1 lakh 16 thousand 737 youths on Friday, June 30. Last month, the Unemployment Allowance was provided to 1 lakh 5 thousand 586 beneficiaries, and this month an increase of 11 thousand 151 beneficiaries is recorded.

The state government has transferred a total of Rs. 80 crore 64 lakh 25 thousand in three months to support the youth.

In addition to the financial aid, the government is also providing skill based training to the beneficiaries of the Unemployment Allowance.

Currently, 3318 youths are undergoing training in various institutions, with an additional 2916 youths set to commence their training soon.
